Microlife has collaborated closely with primary care physicians to develop a systematic procedure for in-office and out-of-office blood pressure measurements.
Between the first and follow-up visits, out-of-office measurements are collected by the patient at home with the WatchBP O3 device via either the ABPM or the 7-Day SBPM measurement function. Out-of-office measurements are combined with in-office measurements from the first and follow up visits to produce a comprehensive assessment of patient blood pressure.
With treatment initiated, the WatchBP Office device continues to collect important blood pressure measurements with each office visit. This data is again combined with data collected using the WatchBP O3 device using either the ambulatory or 7-day home blood pressure measurement function. With data from both in-office and out-of-office measurements, a complete assessment of treatment can be completed.
Once the hypertension is controlled, WatchBP Home can serve as an important tool to accurately monitor patient blood pressure data between office visits.
